This is why they’re pushing the SAVE act. It has the potential to disenfranchise married women without a passport/updated ID, divorced women who didn’t change their name back and of course, trans women with all kinds of ID issues.

It was never about sports and any Democrat still entertaining this idea is dead to me.

Important thread here. There’s a small class of reactionary centrist writers who go out of their way to pick on trans people and if they did this to other groups their editors and readers would recognize it as pathological bigotry or at least be embarrassed enough to tell them to stop.
