We all know how important leadership is and we are seeing first hand a toxic leader who falsely believes cruelty is a way to project strength and control people. The best leaders, in contrast, excel in emotional intelligence and build loyalty through empathy, integrity, and kindness.

Leaders who emphasize integrity and demonstrate empathy inspire trust and promote safety.
Every senior commander of a law enforcement agency needs to do the same and call this 💩 out and refuse to cooperate with ICE.
DHS does not recognize the rule of law and as such, ICE officers are routinely violating citizens’ rights and engaging in criminal behavior.
“My own morality” justification coming from the man who has been convicted of fraud, found liable for sexual abuse, instigated an insurrection, and is ALL OVER the Epstein files - that bar couldn’t be lower than if it was in hell.

Given that there is NO hiring criteria for applicants, it isn’t surprising training is an afterthought.
I think every person who wants to run for office should be required to take a civics exam to remind them what the Constitution and Bill of Rights says.
