Mama Cass had a great voice, but don’t shortchange the contributions of Papa John Phillips, who wrote California Dreamin‘, Monday Monday, and pretty much all of their big hits.

Decades later I still recall The Avengers’ Diana Rigg and Get Smart’s Barbara Feldon as the first major crushes of my boyhood.

Consistently excellent album, my fave is “Go Your Own Way”, featuring an epic guitar solo by the great Lindsey Buckingham.

For anyone who knows Fred MacMurray from My Three Sons and Barbara Stanwyck from The Big Valley, you are in for a rude awakening! Great movie!

Pegula also blamed the Keon Coleman selection not on GM Beane, but on the coaching staff who supposedly pushed for him, then promotes the Offensive Coordinator to Head Coach. Doesn’t make a lot of sense.

Great screenplay, charismatic leading actors, perfect mix of western action, drama, suspense, romance, comedy, music….Butch Cassidy has got it all. One of the all time best!

Dahlonega was the home of a US Mint from 1838 to 1861. Some of the rarest and most sought after US gold coins were minted, in very small quantities, in Dahlonega. (They briefly refer to Dahlonega’s gold history in His & Hers).

Great debut album, including Illegal Smile, Your Flag Decal Won’t Get You Into Heaven Anymore, and Angel From Montgomery (which became a hit for Bonnie Raitt). One of our most underrated artists.

My favorite Hitchcock movie. So many classic scenes. The cropdusting scene, which is one of the most famous scenes in any Hitchcock movie, but also the U.N. scene, the auction scene, the final scene at Mt. Rushmore, and so many others. It has suspense, romance, comedy, just an absolutely epic movie.

One of the absolute greats with an epic screenplay and stellar acting and directing.

One of the few Stones songs I have mastered on the harmonica. A rare Key of A song. Bought my Key of A harmonica just to be able to play it. Great song.

Tre’s best game since his initial injury. He made a great play defending the pass that lead to Cole Bishop’s game sealing interception as well.

Gibbs-gate?

Over this interminable 14 year playoff drought the Sabres have often had streaks like this that inspire their fans to hop back on the bandwagon, only to mercilessly boot them off again a few games later. Am I being foolishly optimistic to believe this year will be different?

Saw Jorma and Jack in Buffalo in October. The man can still play! Happy Birthday Jorma!

The best “Hitchcockian” movie not directed by Hitchcock. In addition to Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn, it also features a stellar supporting cast including Walter Matthau, James Coburn and George Kennedy. Excellent combination of murder mystery, romance and comedic touches. Highly recommended!

And I won’t forget to put roses on your grave! The Stones go Country!
