Film #1. Might be too restrained for some tastes.
But I really vibed with the understated beauty of THE HISTORY OF SOUND. Love lying in one's subtle gestures. Accumulating over time to form their own 'song' in a period where it was difficult to overtly articulate.

Although Glenn Close runs him close. WAKE UP DEAD MAN: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY is absolutely his show. A deliciously gothic switch up in tone from Rian Johnson, without diluting the fun or cracking writing.
