I hate that my instincts tell me that World War III started a very long time ago. If you feel the stir to move or flee to somewhere safer—do it.

History remembers them as perceptive, strategic, and courageous. Their living descendants thank them for their vision. When the Nazis arrived to execute or round them up, their homes were empty.

In 1931, the families fleeing their homes, abandoning beloved businesses because they were beginning to feel unsafe, and who wanted to secure a future where their children lived, and possibly even thrived…were considered alarmist in their time.

Greatness is in the agency of others (alliances). We are becoming less great.
