The energy was incredible, and the sound of constant honking from passing cars felt like the biggest honking concert I’ve ever heard.
Events like this truly restore faith in humanity during these dark times when the government seems determined to make us feel hopeless.

The No Kings protest in Issaquah, WA was fantastic! Kind people of all ages were smiling, complimenting my shirt, and hugging me after we sang together. Thousands of patriots (millions nationwide) came out to show their love for this country.

At least, his actions make it clear who is actually willing to work to resolve the shutdown and who isn’t.

So Mike Johnson closed the House again. It’s hard not to notice that both he and Donald Trump seem desperate to avoid the release of the Epstein files. This Congress is on track to be one of the laziest ever, an embarrassment not only for Johnson but for the entire country.

Having lived in France, I’m often struck by the relative passivity of ordinary citizens when it comes to political engagement.

Yesterday, I attended a town hall with my House Representative, @repdelbene.bsky.social What struck me most was that many attendees were focused on what the Democrats could do to counteract Trump’s harmful policies, but I didn’t hear anyone asking what they themselves could do.

And of course, this is yet another textbook example of the so-called “fake news media” being right, while the real “fake news President” once again lied. The irony is impossible to miss: every time he cries “hoax,” it only seems to confirm the facts he wants to bury.

Now that the Oversight Committee has the book, I believe justice should hold DJT accountable for abusing the legal system and the Wall Street Journal should sue him for defamation.
