That being said, I've discussed it with my partner and have his permission to dip if they (the company) start being unreasonable, pushing my buttons, or are just generally assholes.

'Permission' only because this is a $$$ decision that affects us both so I make sure we're on the same page first.

Moving house kinda drained my savings and there's still a bunch of things that need to be bought/paid, so it's not *dire* but I feel like losing that last paycheck would put the pinch on more than necessary.

It would be so satisfying to just pack up my equipment and drop it off at their office and say toodaloo motherfuckers, enjoy a nice vacation, and organize my new house before starting another soul sucking call centre job.

I'm so, so tempted.

There's some part of me that feels guilty and like I should stick it out, but there's another (louder) part that is screaming that this company doesn't give a fuck about me, and I'm already fighting burnout and a chronic illness flare from the move, so maybe I deserve some rest.

But money.

I handed in my two weeks notice Tuesday, and my god, my motivation to keep doing this job for another 11 days has fucking vanished.

We need the money but holy fuck, the urge to shut my laptop and walk away from this desk is a siren song I'm not sure I'm strong enough to fight.
