"Renegades" by Marissa Meyer -- A superhero post-apocalyptic (enemies to lovers?) that's the first of three. I'm about halfway in and really enjoying it.

I had a hankering to draw some long legs in high boots, and this casual Jean Grey is the result. I'm still practicing cel shading, and the main lesson of this one seems to be that less is more, a complete 180 from the more is more of my usual rendering. #jeangrey

It seems every year I draw Pixie Girl at least once, so I decided this year's version would also provide a bit of practice in working with shadows. I really like how it turned out, and I'm kind of glad after almost ten years she's finally found a hairstyle she likes enough to keep.

These are the first five I've done, with five more to go. Everyone's generosity has raised a bit over $200 so far, for which I'm incredibly thankful.

Last month I set up a fundraising campaign on tiltify where, for a small donation to The Trevor Project (a support phoneline for LGBTQ+teens), I would draw Dungeons & Dragons tokens for the person who made the donation.

That's always kind of disappointing -- I've nothing against subtitles, but they eliminate a lot of shows from viewing if I'm tired or looking to split my attention.
