Really? How about build smart? How about build respectfully? “Big”, “bold”, and “now” doesn’t sound like an approach that respects community plans, natural areas, or Indigenous rights and title. Please think about the future for ALL not just profits for the already rich.

There is plenty of housing! What is needed is AFFORDABLE housing.
For-profit housing will not fix the problem and higher density will not fix the problem… or cities like NYC and Hong Kong would be affordable! Community plans need to be respected as well… it is called DEMOCRACY.

Please share your definition of “nation-building” projects. One of the best ways to “nation build” is through public education… Are you including improvements to our public schools in your “nation-building” plans? Or is it really just about oil and gas and profits for multinational corporations?

The world is “increasingly dangerous” due to rising socioeconomic inequality. By all means, invest in Canada’s military and boarder security… but you will not improve safety for Canadians (or the world) unless you also address socioeconomic inequality. This can be done by taxing the super-rich.

No: it is short-sighted and driven by greed. Is it even really lawful? I don’t see how it works with UNDRIP.
