Are you arguing that art should not be used as a source of revenue? If so, my argument is; it's nice to be able to do what I love and also pay for my groceries. I wouldn't have enough time and energy to make games if I had to do an unrelated job 40 hours a week. Source; tried it, didn't work.

I love how he shows examples of both pixel art that works better on a CRT and pixel art that looks worse on one. Goes to show that intent, and the relationship between the art and the hardware, is more important than the medium itself, in the end.

Unfortunately, this is the kind of situation where you literally have to be like "it's me or your parents". And also be prepared to hit the bricks. It hurts, but it's better than a lifetime of gaslighting.

Firefox hasn't let me down yet. I recommend AdNauseam as an ad blocker. It's a fork of ublock but it also fucks with the ad networks by tricking them to think you actually watched the ad.

Gotta cut down that tree at some point.
