The best thing about New Year's Day for me is watching the New Year's Day Concert from Vienna - a tradition started many years ago by my late parents, we'd all get ready to watch the concert before visiting family. One year I hope to be lucky in the draw for tickets and be in Vienna for New Year.

What have I done these last few days?

Went to Berlin, celebrated my birthday, lost my boyfriend, gained a fiancé - after 13 years, I proposed on bended knee at 3.30am on a cold night, and he said YES!

The weather is shit. My stepdad died a week ago. My brother is being a dick. It's nearly Christmas and my birthday. I'm WFH because I don't want to socialise. I'm very tired. 2025 hasn't been a good year anyway. If there is a God, please lay off me for a bit - I'm barely coping as it is.
