Pulling firefighters off the line in the middle of an active wildfire is reckless and dangerous. Families and homes are at risk and instead of focusing on protecting lives and property, federal agents chose to harass fire crews under a racist, overreaching Trump Administration policy. This was certainly not done for community safety as it put entire communities in harm’s way. I am closely tracking this situation and working with my colleagues to demand answers and accountability.
