Body pulled from Bow River near Centre Street Bridge Calgary firefighters pulled a body from the Bow River on Thursday afternoon.

The Calgary Fire Department was called to the river west of the Centre Street Bridge at 1:20 p.m. for reports somebody was in the water.

In the end, Kwan said it appears the body had been in the water “for some time.”

Why am I expected to be grateful for scraps thrown to me from those who dine in the lap of luxury?

I moved...I'm not in Calgary anymore but I will be there over the next few days to collect the last of my things. Friday there's a market at Momentum near Franklin station. I will also be back in the city periodically over the next year as we do plan on moving back there when this lease is finished.

Arguing with cons on the internet is like trying to wrestle a pig. It doesn't matter how good your argument is, you're going to get dragged through the mud and the pig is gonna think it's fun.

I keep forgetting to post updates in here...I'm moving. I've been notified that building management will not be renewing my lease and they have refused to give me a reason why. They don't legally have to because it's not an eviction. Onto a new chapter soon.

Made a Mother's Day brunch for myself. Imagine if a quesadilla and a panini had a baby.
Multigrain tortillas with chicken, cheese, spinach, sauteed mushroom with bacon bits, homemade salsa, seasoned roasted potatoes and sour cream.

Feeling kind of a slump today. The film festival is over, I had 2 markets on the weekend that are done, the election is over, rent's due soon, weather's grey and gloomy, my kid is a bit sick...
The excitement is over for a bit. Chill time.
