He asks the genie why the headline was wrong. The lazy genie explains that he went only as far as the next morning and came back with the morning edition.

He commands the genie to bring him tomorrow’s newspaper so he can find out if the bank robbery he is planning will be successful. The genie is lazy and protests; time travel is hard work and tiring. But the thief insists.

In the late 1940s, Calgary replaced its streetcars with buses and rubber-wheeled trolley coaches. The original LRT (Route 201) started in 1981. Route 202 (later renamed the Blue Line) was added in 1985.

Calgary Transit's Blue Line, a light rail transit line, began service #40YearsAgoToday (April 27, 1985) as Route 202. The Blue Line name was originally used for a streetcar route that became commonly known as the Belt Line. Today's Beltline district maintains the name. @calgarytransit.bsky.social
