When I saw about the helicopters, I was like no, that’s gotta be hyperbole. Searched. Ok, damn. Posted about it and multiple people said, “Gotta be hyperbole. You’re being metaphorical.” Because it’s not getting the media attention it should considering it’s full on nazi.

That’s a tough chapter in history - when the Nazis descended on Berlin and rappelled from Blackhawk helicopters, broke down doors and dragged children into the street, zip tied toddlers, loaded everyone up in racially segregated vans, stole valuables. Terrifying! So glad we’ve evolved since then.

I was dead in the water here on bsky when I tried to just be “Pink Zombie Rose”… it wasn’t until I changed it to Dia and showed up as freak me that it even got moving and fun. So I am glad for all of your advice as I have to move from hermit phase to this part - and it’s a strange transition.

Now I’m realizing that this is gonna be quite important. These podcasts and live readings and sadly for me, the in-person stuff, I am gonna have to figure all of this out because I am not going to be able to be a mysterious author hiding behind a project. Bluesky taught me this first!

Ya know, I never had any interest in the live feature, but I did it to “show up” after everyone supported me during launch. I decided to read the book aloud every night for two weeks until the end. Just my voice turning pages. It ended up being a total game changer that I didn’t see coming.
