MAGA has already shown that they are willing to kill to obtain and retain power. See: Butler, Ivana, Kirk, Epstein.
There is NO WAY they will willingly or peacefully cede Congress or the White House when they lose the elections. Prison awaits all of them. This will never end peacefully.
Grounds for impeachment and if the corrupt Republican Congress refuses to do their duty, then extrajudicial measures are justified to remove the lawless unconstitutional illegitimate traitors from our government.

No matter what you say, we won't obey.
Gonna hold a revolution now, King,
And we're gonna run it all our way
With no more kings...

Understand what that requires of us.
I, in fact, did not guess correctly.
23.09.2025 04:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It is high time to REMOVE this entire regime for clearly choosing to abdicate their OATHS to protect and serve under the US Constitution. They are in violation of their oaths of office and MUST be removed immediately before more irreparable damage can be done.
Yes, this means what it means.
Of course it didn't work for me BECAUSE of the reasons stated. I don't sit down to watch movies and try to find reasons to not like them as the primary mission.
03.09.2025 21:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The "elements" you're referring to are not adequately addressed in the film which is the entire point. The audience being required to ret-con (read: make shit up) is not indicative of quality writing.
Audiences are evidently lowering the standards of what passes as a well-told story.
Your premise is a bit odd in that it appears to be based in the idea that "older movies" are all superficial and didn't require the audience to think about anything at all.
Have you seen any movies made before the year 2000 by chance?
Trying to excuse the weak material by attempting to undermine the credibility of the critique itself isn't a viable method to support the argument. In other words, "attack the messenger" isn't really addressing the issues, is it?
22.08.2025 18:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Actually, the movie doesn't show nor answer any of the questions I've posed which is why I'm perplexed as to how others have chosen to ignore these clear story and marketing issues. Sure, you can retcon anything to make it make sense, but the onus is on the storyteller to provide those answers.

A guy acts as if he just escaped from an asylum attacks someone & the conclusion is that he was specifically going after that specific person?
The statement exists because the script needs it to.
"Gladys is weaponizing the children (to greater extent, the community"
Perhaps you should review what the word "weaponize" means. Sucking energy out of a thing isn't "weaponizing" it. USING people (compelling them to attack someone or something) is weaponizing.
"The title, Weapons, isnβt to be taken literally." Who decided that and where is that rule written?
22.08.2025 14:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Art is good. This isn't art. It's a first draft of ideas that was committed to 1s and 0s.
The marketing clearly insinuates that the KIDS are WEAPONS yet all they do in the movie is nothing until the end when they inexplicably attack the old clown woman because somebody stepped over the salt.
Sure, why not. The idea that the audience has to invent reasons for things in a story is not an indication that the story was well told.
This isn't to assert that everything needs to be "spoon fed," but the time is on the frickin' poster and is NEVER addressed in the movie in any way.
And you find Yakety Sax scary?
22.08.2025 14:30 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0How are the children utilized as weapons by the villain as implied by the marketing poster/trailer?
22.08.2025 00:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Irrelevant.
What significance does the very specific time stamp on the poster have to the plot and in what way does the film itself utilize this marketing element in the story?
Sadly, yes. Clearly others didn't.

22.08.2025 00:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Petrify? It was yawn inducing. Nothing happens for over an hour, it's not scary, the very specific time on the poster is meaningless, and the kids are never used as weapons for anything. And that's just a small part of why this movie is terrible.
12.08.2025 17:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Clueless is in my top five best films of all time. It's a perfect time capsule of that time just like American Graffiti was for its era.
Which begs the question for the crowd, which films would YOU choose as THE movies that perfectly enshrined their eras for future generations to watch?
Time to overthrow this unconstitutional illegitimate corrupt Fascist Nazi Regime.
