MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG was a big Sondheim blind spot for me, one that I didn't know very well. I saw the proshot of the recent Broadway revival and I was blown away. It's such a dark, cynical and moving story, and the performances are astonishing. I WEPT at the ending. Loved it.
