Absolutely. If you want to have some social sport after work, get everyone to put money in a kitty and pay for it yourself like everyone else does. Beggars belief that the charity from a lobbyist doesn't engender any goodwill.

This is great. My son has worked in aged care and my mum was a resident in one and a pay rise was well deserved. It's an extremely important job but also physically and emotionally demanding and sometimes dangerous.

Are you sure? This graph shows the growth rate, which was still positive (barely) during the pandemic. That would imply a plateau rather than a drop. Am I missing something here?
