I've read the source of the film ban claim. It's from a state-affiliated journalist's personal account and anonymous sources. Nothing is "set to" be banned, just a possible way to retaliate if the trade war escalates. The foreign affairs spokesperson acknowledged it as an internet rumor.

I doubt Steam would ever be affected. Steam China was more of a way to operate CS and DotA2 legally, not many players use it compared to the 'normal' Steam. Wait until you know that a state-affiliated company does legit key retailer business and sells games like Doom.

I’ve started my Ctrl Alt Ego replay since yesterday. I still bloody love this game. This strict difficulty + no powers run is going to be awesome.

Fredo's Game-Os: I've been spending some time with CTRL ALT EGO lately, an indie immersive sim from 2022. This one is kind of a sleeper hit, made a lot of "hidden gem" lists and seems highly regarded by your "in the know" types. Spoiler alert: It is really good!

Riding the rails, or HEISTING the rails IF U WILL, in Rail Heist in #UFO50. This one is wild. Really cool but also kinda a mess, its turn based immsim stealth heist ambitions too much for the limited 6-button control scheme. Frustratingly trial and errory, but still... pretty dang cool.

Daniel, do you think the two-model approach in Japan (online order only for the standard multi-language model) will lead to a decrease in the number of Chinese players (who have relied on grey market imports from Hong Kong and Japan for years, as you've mentioned in the article)?

I heard the region-locked version doesn't run international games. I used to buy Switch games in both the Japanese and American regions, now I'll be forced to buy the multi-lang version if I want backward compatibility. :/

Honestly it should have sold 100k so far. It doesn't play quite like any other immersive sim. Impeccable vibes, and boy howdy is your handler horny for corporate malfeasance. Just big into the whole concept of crimes.
