Nothing was behaving like I’d expect until I watched a video where someone made UI specifically for gamepad, and changing over to the same commands…. Yeah everything works now.

It’s knowing the commands/states to make things work with mouse keyboard AND gamepad. You have focus, hover, keyboard focus, and selected… like wtf. And you need “Game and UI” for gamepad UI.

I’m serious I may actually want one. Super retro VR scratches an itch for me. Heck I’d even like to make a game.

But I was also very confused how someone thought Virtual Boy was the thing people wanted… and then I saw the rest of my timeline and realized it fits right in with everything else.

It has an Oculink so theoretically I could add on a standalone eGPU, but the games I’m playing (I rarely play new AAA) have been just fine on the 780M (50% faster than a Steamdeck GPU).
