This is absolutely true, and also this administration, unlike previous administrations, wants to destroy all the parts of NASA that actually *are* working and providing value to the American people.

the strategy from Dem leadership has been very clear: get out of the way, let them hang themselves, clean up the mess.

but that doesn’t work if voters see you as part of the mess. the aesthetics of fighting are nearly as important as fighting. few Dems have that.

Went to live with my roommate’s mom in Jersey for the rest of the semester, the next year she and her bf moved in together off campus and took the cat with them. Zach lived a long and happy life in apartments in New York and tolerated the existence of her human brothers, and passed a few years ago.

We also kept a cat in the dorms for two years until we got caught because she was seen by an RA in the window. I was a rebel in college.
