Here is a picture of my ebike inside a thief’s apartment. Over a four hour period I could not get SPD to show up to help me recover it.

The next afternoon it was destroyed and I recovered a pile of broken worthless parts.

After that got stolen (no thanks to SPD not assisting me recovering it when i could see it in the guy’s window) i upgraded to a 19lb kryptonite chain lock. Been working so far.

Huh. I wouldn’t have guessed that. We pmug our rav4 prime phev in overnight and it’s charged to its ~40 mile capacity. Easily 80% of the 50k miles are electric. Not counting the cost and pollution savings, it is just smoother than the ICE.
