I spent a couple of weeks riding the Tokyo subway system to and from our office there, from one district to another, and it puts anything in the U.S., much less TN, to shame!

I would put it on my list of least enjoyed books I’ve ever read. Even as someone with a B.A. in English. It’s was a chore to read and I have no idea why I forced myself to finish it 😏 but others love it and that’s okay too.

It is 2 years and 7 months since her hemangiosarcoma diagnosis and the prognosis of 3-6 months to live. She is my favorite Valentine and she has the collar to prove it 💜💜💜

Yes, right? Almost every character in the book is awful and ends up dead. It's not fun to read. It's pure misery from start to finish.

I honestly don't like anything about it, struggled to finish it. Everything about it is depressing and awful. There just is really nothing to enjoy!

I spent the evening decorating Valentines treats for people in our community who really need to know they are loved. Time at The Nashville Food Project is always so good for the soul. I highly recommend volunteering as a way to combat all the anger and cruelty around us.

I have them more often than most because I have a “syndrome” that often progresses to cancer. Every time, I am grateful that I have the means to get screened. It’s such a privilege.

This is the same reason I refuse to watch The Bachelor or any variations of that godforsaken franchise.

So many of our checks and balances are wrong. We would all love to get rid of the electoral college. But, we can't do that without the very people who would jeopardize their own jobs. It's a problem. The lack of term limits. Every legislative and judicial position should be subject to term limits.

Please. You truly never know if everything is fine until you get screened. I assumed it was with my first colonoscopy. It was not and I immediately went into 6 month repeat screenings. It has likely saved my life, and I had NO idea. Your colon can keep secrets. Get screened.
