I dry most of my cherry tomatoes each year, and store them in jars with olive oil. Then I have dried tomatoes to use all winter. They are amazing!

It’s a lot of work, to be sure! Especially in fingering weight yarn, but it will be so worth it when it’s done! It’s my best design yet!

More than once, I have rescued an overheated bumblebee from the pavement and put them in a shady spot with access to some water.

They forgot the toilet and chandelier.

What gorgeous colors! Tonight, I am planning ahead, and will head out into the hills outside of town, for a better view. Last night, I walked a couple of blocks over to the nature preserve by my house, where it was a little darker to take this.

My sister is a mosaic artist, and has been working on a series of ordnance maps of the area around the Sheepshead Peninsula, where our family is from, made from sea glass and pottery shards.

My brother lives in Iowa, too, and sent me some nice pics he took from his back yard. 😊💚🩷

I got a nice shot of the lights around Carbonate Mountain in Hailey from the Draper Preserve by my house.

A and B. We installed our 13kw system with two home batteries in 2019. Last year our system provided 65% of our total energy use. We live in the mountains of Idaho, and winters are cold, but our home stays warm and cozy, with no outages effecting us. Go solar!
