Looks like I’ve got a project building a shepherds hut. I say shepherds hut but it’s basically going to be a poncey yoga studio on wheels. Still, I’m excited, some proper joinery involved.

I’m doing some web dev from home today and I’ve just knocked up my current favourite lunch. I finely chop 3 or 4 cloves of garlic, stick it in a frying pan on a low heat with olive oil. Leave it for 15 mins. Cook up some spaghetti. Mix it together. That’s it. If I’m being posh, some anchovies go in.

You know when there’s a big flood and people’s homes are underwater, well, it’s easily solved, just throw in a dozen Quorn sausages, they’re so dry and absorbent they’ll soak up millions of litres of water in seconds.

I’m hoping in a couple of years she’ll call me and say “remember those shelves…” and I can take them back to the workshop and make them look nice.

Not really my thing but the customer wanted a more rustic traditional look. I am pleased with how they turned out. I like Elm.

I made these brackets from scratch last week and today I put em’ on the wall and plonked them slabs of Elm on.

Fingers crossed, I’ve not had any twats really, just people who want cheap and quick which I can’t bring myself to do.
