My oldest daughter who lives out of the country made the sugar cookies (also my mom’s recipe)for the family she is visiting for Christmas. 🥹

Hand written recipe for Million Dollar Fudge.

This fudge recipe is my mom’s who is 88 but I’m pretty sure it originated with my grandmother. So simple, so good.

And a bonus to me was Alt Nation on SiriusXM was playing its year end countdown. Much better than tired old Christmas music.

I make two pans-one without nuts and then one with.

All the fudge ingredients mixed together except one single marshmallow.

Not sure why this one marshmallow will not melt.

I advise making the fudge when you are home alone. No sharing the bowl.

Pot on the stove with evaporated milk and sugar being stirred in a rolling boil.

Sugar and evaporated milk stirring for a solid 8 minutes.

The two constants in our family holidays are fudge and sugar cookies. My sister is making the cookies this year.

Although I’m a former student, I was and am pretty much a 2 percenter. But I was at A&M back in the SWC days and the A&M/Texas was the big deal. A student ticket was only $10 for the Texas game. And I saw R.E.M. on campus that month for the same price.
