I have tons of macros mapped out to my keyboard, it takes me less than a second to activate most of them. I don't want to talk to my computer I just want it to be the tool that does the stuff I need it to. If I want to talk to something I'll call a friend, or go find the dog.

I know my use case isn't universal, but I use my computer for gaming and audio editing. I would not use AI for either of those things. Like I want to actually play the games myself.

All very true. In star trek at least it seems like gravity and the internal dampers are pretty robust systems, but the shop does get jolted enough that loose objects do seem like a problem.
