Attended a funeral tonight for a 17 year old who took his own life this week. If you’re struggling, talk to someone. Life can be very, very hard sometimes.

Among church attending Christians dispensationalism has peaked and is on the decline now. It will probably hold on for a generation with those who identify with Christianity in a political way rather than a sincerely practiced religion, but it’s not being taught in Bible churches much anymore.

86 year old missionary spoke at our church this morning. She’s spent many years traveling in rural Africa and teaching about the innate dignity of women as made in God’s image, and what appropriate respect for them looks like in a marriage and in the community. Good work!

This is very sad, I’m sorry.

It’s hard to talk with precision here because it’s at the edge of understanding, but yes - he wasn’t “creator” for eternity past, that was new in Genesis. And at the incarnation he went even further. Making us and saving us was such a profound thing that he was himself permanently changed by it.
