All her models are on the skinny side of the bell curve, tall, blond and scandi, so not attainable for most. Seems to me that's just fashion, ('fast' or 'slow'), a marketing illusion. But hate and defence alike puzzle me in a context like this. However, each to their own!

Why would anyone worry about what patterns someone else uses? As to the beanpole model effect, you'd want to be daft to buy into it. Partly it's a scandi thing anyway! Plenty of choice out there, and lots of ways to modify patterns, don't think I've ever made anything precisely as writ.

Yeah the menopause hair loss was way more than just the dye --- mine fell out in handfuls then, and my nails went soft and weak on and off as well, in sync with the hormone rollercoaster. But for me it definitely contributed (and I was just using crappy box dye anyway).

I ditched the dye, after a few months had really good regrowth. My hair is more healthy and thicker now than when I was 30. Regret ever using dye!
