I had already laid in extra groceries for the first round of snow so I am good for a bit but PLEASE may it be fleeting.

2/3 I had pooched my knee once last year already. Although snow had drifted right up and onto my door (10 foot down a covered walkway) the snow shovel I left out was weilded by a neighbour. Garbage out, got the mail, store for milk and bread and took myself to a restaurant for a delicious hot meal.

Been home for about a week? Ice and snow. More freezing temps and snow predicted for tomorrow. Snow doesn't bother me. The ice we get an ice thick on walkways does. We are not used to this here.

I got sick of being bombarded by ads on that platform. Then further annoyed by having to work to block or remove ads. Then when I think about my advertising dollars going to propping up one of the current U.S. admin billionaire babies?

It has only been a couple of days since I took FB (and incidentally FB messenger) off my phone. I have to say I am already breathing easier.
