Xenoblade X DE is such a strange game because there is so many quality to life features introduced from the original but then there are obnoxious things the the sturdiest ass Zig enemies which have a vision range of like half a football field it feels like. Still a really fun game though!

I want to chronicle the stupid misadventures on here and Twitter just for fun and because I don’t know if anyone else besides my friend has really done any Pokemon challenge like this so I feel like it would be fun to share.

One of my close friends tried a Pokemon challenge a couple years ago that he called a tradelocke where he played a simultaneous Nuzlocke of Platinum and HGSS and he would trade the encounters between the two games. Now I am motivated to do the same sort of challenge but with Y and Omega Ruby.

Winx Club Season 4 finally made Bloom a fun and compelling character, I sure hope they don’t ruin her and the others in Season 5-8 :)

It’s a shame more people don’t talk about Metaphor Refantazio because it has a scarily accurate depiction of the political and social climate of America right now.

Love how I finished Omori and now my life has been consumed by Pokemon again. Been working on my living dex, Playing through Scarlet and Yellow, finished Let’s Go Eevee, and bought like 50 dollars worth of cards off TCGPlayer.

I might be addicted but it certainly won’t stop until Pokemon Day comes

Got two Shiny Bagon while working on the Galar Pokémon Home Dex. These two have quite a story about them and it really made them both memorable.

New Pokemon playthrough team just dropped. I’m kinda excited for this team. The naming scheme is so stupid but so funny.

Btw this screen alone is why they should bring back the battle intro screens.

Call it nostalgia or what not, but to me, I don’t think anything will beat Iris as my favorite champion. You can argue she might not be the best one in battle but she isn’t a pushover. She has an amazing battle theme and aesthetic and just vibe. I wouldn’t ask 2D Pokemon to end in any other way.

Finished Omori. It was such a good end. The scene of Aubrey breaking down and apologizing to her friends and them all hugging was great, the ending in the hospital was great and of course Duet is just such a beautiful piece of music.

Never finished my first run but the second was Braviary, Alpha Ursaluna, Hisuian Liligant, Basculegion, Origin Dialga and Hisuian Arcanine.

Was one of your closest compatriots. Seeing how angry and betrayed Aubrey feels after the friend group split apart is heartbreaking and hearing people in the church talk about her right in her of her can really do some damaging things to a person’s psyche and the story really encapsulates that.

So far in my playthrough of Omori I have to say, my favorite boss is undoubtedly the second encounter with Aubrey in the church.

The music and atmosphere make everything feel so tense which is exactly what the fight wants you to feel. Fighting someone who literally minutes ago you thought…

The Pokémon Let’s Go catching mechanic is so frustrating. Because why the fuck have I failed my Drowzee catch combo like 6 times because it just decided that time it wasn’t gonna be caught and ran away. It’s just not good game design imo.

I finished Metaphor yesterday actually and it was wonderful! Aside from that though been replaying Let’s Go Eevee and I plan on starting Omori and Okami soon.

The Shiny Pokemon haul from the past 24 hours is actually so nice. Paras is the only one I actively hunted for.
