A very underrated fruit imho. Slightly envious you have them/can get them.

As I am back to writing about the Compostelan cult of Saint James the Elder, here's one of many late-medieval examples of how far afield the pilgrim iconography caught on.

This holiday weekend called for one of my “Uncle Larry” wines, because he loved to read about the U.S. Presidents. 2004 Carinae Prestige (Argentina). Deep color, very little pelure d’oignon; tamarind, but not the acid (or tannin). Rich plum fruit, medium to full body; surprisingly short finish.

Esatto, è quello che tutti vogliamo sapere: è universale. Conservate quella foto per la vostra mostra...
