5+ years ago, my wife was eating a peach and tossed the pit into an old flower pot. She did not care about plants or gardens at all, but declared she would grow a peach tree. OK.
That pit actually grew without her doing a thing, for years, and now has buds on it and ALL I HEAR ABOUT IS HER SKILL.
They are all bad but losing Carla Hayden really hurts because she is inspiring to me. She was a public librarian who worked with teens. She told me how valuable the work of a teen librarian is. I hate he fired her. She is a legend in our field.
