DISTANCE

Sometimes
most times

the distance
is too far

One for the Autumn. Who could resist the three β€˜weird sisters’?

β€œWhen shall we three meet again
In thunder, lightning, or in rain?”
β€œWhen the hurly-burly's done,
When the battle's lost and won.”

Guess where funding of the arts is lowest in the UK-N Ireland- by a large margin. Go to the ROI to see proper funding. A plethora of year round festivals in towns across the country. Enriches the community, brings tourism revenue, supports writers and artists.
So short sighted of the UK govt.

My nativity set has been a source of wonder to clumsy toddler hands and has crashed to the floor more than once. Baby Jesus has been repaired and two of the Wise Men have lost an arm. Each carefully positioned to avoid embarrassment.
Imperfectly perfect.
