An Executive Order (EO) is expected to be signed tonight directing agencies to work with "DOGE" to cut agency staffing across the board. This would limit hiring to "essential positions" (and limit 1 backfill per 4 losses) and direct planning for a Reduction in Force (RIF, i.e. mass layoffs).

Multiple full-time remote USCIS employees have received notification they are being detailed to ICE, with specific dates and details to follow.

FEMA CFO, a couple program analysts, and a grant specialist were fired directly by Kristi Noem. FEMA has an all-hands at 2pm today.

Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) employees who worked on election security have been placed on admin leave.
