07.02.2026 08:57 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I wonder why Farage, commentators, russian adjacent social media posts and the right wing press in general have been banging on about an early election for some time now? Okay, Starmer made a bad call, but is this really an attempt at orchestrating a stitch up?

So Jagland, former Norwegian PM & Secretary General of the Council of Europe, and member of the Noble Prize committee was talking to Putin and Epstein about crypto? Oh, cool.

29.01.2026 18:36 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Obesity is, I think, due largely to too much reliance on carbs in our diets generally. Not just the UPF stuff, but in many of the foods which are seen as being healthy. Sugar is everywhere. In fact, it might actually one of the few things the US administration have right, the inverted food pyramid.
28.01.2026 18:05 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I'm tired of political infighting and seemingly endless leadership changes. Who knows, Starmer and Reeves might actually been seen as doing a good job in a year or two if things finally improve.
25.01.2026 14:32 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I been listening for years and the bar is consistently high, but I have to say this is one of the best I've heard for quite a while (even if the subject is kind of mad to contemplate). The epic "Unhinged Headline" section was magnificent, and then to have Stewart Lee on too! Even PMQ's was good...

I've known a fair few old boys of his generation who I didn't agree with politically, but I nevertheless admire and respect them hugely. They would all have been shocked and dismayed to think that Farage might seriously be in the running for PM.
Great interview 👍

RIP Jack DeJohnette, here playing at the Isle of Wight festival with Miles Davis' incredible electric band in 1970.

I've been using Huxe AI for a while, and it's quite interesting. I believe it's being developed by some of the same team who came up with NotebookLM and it's good at creating podcast format discussions about pretty much any topic. Here's one, I call it "Musk's Nuts".

They're certainly going to try. Just look at this ex-RAF pilot who seems to have gained some traction with the virulently anti-Muslim manosphere www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oBg...

Those on the populist right seem very good at inverting ideas and progressive virtues.
I'm wondering whether the idea of the "Uniparty" , so often talked about by Farage and his lot, is one of these inversions and really is a way of disguising their real intentions if they achieve power.
I see that Ms Gagui signs off with her pronouns.

I mean, if he thinks the game is in danger of being up then his next move will surely be to flee the stinking ship and head to America to make as much money as possible.
