It's been happening here in Faribault. There is a small network for mutual aid and some observers, but it's difficult to do with a small population of people who care (this is a very red town) and a large area to cover. It's rough.

I used to have a great 12" (or was it a CD - it's been a long time) with different versions of this but someone swiped it, along with my New Order Substance 1987 (that one was definitely vinyl) + a couple more records. Still pains me because I was too broke at the time to replace them.

Come less than an hour south of the airport and I will take you on a tour of a woolen mill that's been operating since 1865 and show you a school campus that looks like it's straight out of a fairy tale. Plus we can get some great Somali, Mexican, or Guatemalan food. Oh - and tremendous bike trails!

Ugh. Just called my rep (Finstad) and left a voicemail expressing my strong opposition to this legislation. I did ask how he would feel if a Democratic administration was requesting this information. I doubt I will get a response.

I worked at the USAO for 15 years doing mainly civil fraud work (paralegal/analyst not AUSA) and I am puzzled by this take. How do you think this will affect the DFL's chances? BTW, the State AG has a strong anti-fraud practice which gets lost b/c feds so often take the lead for various reasons.

I’m now with the state, but was with the feds for many years. The feds were worse, at least here they put a filter in the refrigerator water dispenser. But we had to pool together to buy a coffee maker, so it is still annoying.

I work in govt which can’t offer this. But since I love to bake I bring goodies in for everyone anyway. They’re always appreciated. Some folks even rearrange their in-office days to get them! It’s amazing how a small amount of food can have so much impact. (I spend way more than $50/year tho)

Hi! Another Minnesotan here to reiterate that TENSIONS HAVE NOT CALMED! ICE is still terrorizing people here. They’re hanging out at schools and grabbing little kids.

And she’s likely our next governor…I am not thrilled.

In my 15 years at the USAO, I saw some orders where the judge was hot and chastised the AUSAs, but nothing even approaching this. Zoinks.

A rare but consistent point of levity during the last few weeks has been watching national news reporters coming to terms with third-week-of-January-in-Minnesota cold.

I’m bitterly disappointed I was not able to score tickets for this.

Didn’t have time to even try to snag a ticket.
