Nothing says ‘scam’ more than service providers using FB to advertise their services. They’ve been doing it successfully since the inception of the NDIS and now it’s moved across to Aged Care and Veterans etc.

I have returned after a week of unnecessary stress bestowed upon me by a failed bureaucracy. Matter is not sorted yet but at least they’re now aware of their error. Many thanks to the friend on here who reached out on Thursday just before I spiralled into a very dark place. Look out for each other.

Odd that I still can’t actually walk or stand unsupported. I tried when I got home but my legs gave way (fortunately I attempted to do so near the bed). Maybe if I start some lower limb strengthening and conditioning exercises?

After 31 years, 11 months + 28 days or 11,685 days, today I was apparently classified as no longer requiring support/services of any kind. After that long as a wheelchair user I’m looking forward to going for a walk to the park tomorrow. Housework with no w/chair should be easier too. It’s a miracle

Bit of a wasted taxi trip to Southland as elevator broken + unable to keep appointment on Level 3. At least I managed to pick up scripts. Customer service staff were so helpful which is more than I can say about the security staff. Oh well, at least I tried being ‘independent’!
