We will need a new set of rules which won't permit the firehose of blatant falsehoods pushed by companies like faux news. We will need a new set of rules which won't tolerate outside interference and attacks such as what Russia is doing now to tear us apart.

Once the dust settles, we will need a new set of rules that actually enforce the checks and balances we thought we had, but which turned out to be just a bunch of suggestions.

We all need to encourage our State and Local reps to actively push back on the coming fascism. Let them know we do not want it, and we fully support the steps needed.

Many States are already pushing back, but they're in the same trap of fighting against the firehose of big flashy changes that they use to distract from the quieter, insidious changes. It also keeps us off balance so that we DON'T start preparing for the next two, three, or four steps ahead.

The existing Democrats in Congress, with few exceptions, are utterly unwilling to diverge from the system which has enriched and empowered them. We cannot look to that group for change.

Change is going to have to come from We The People. Change will have to come from local activism.

We're kept off balance with this constant interplay of, they-say-lies and we tie ourselves in knots refuting the lies.

It focuses our attention on the wrong place.

They have a literal playbook of their long-term goals. We should be looking ahead three steps and fighting the truly evil shit coming.

i will say that we have never experienced anything like an administration trying to essentially freeze the activities of the entire federal government while making a series of illegal power grabs. genuinely unclear to me what kind of response, if any, these guys are generating against them
