The good news is on the Makeship site it looks like the order deadline is now Aug 8th, so there is more time to round up donors, and for Ingo to enter them. I made a donation of a couple early on, I'm going to go back and donate a couple more.

But if you want to get creative with the liquid you put in to freeze then it's enjoyable. One time hubby did some custard like thing with lemon and basil flavor and that was tasty. But yeah, if you're looking to have your own Baskin Robins factory, you will be disappointed. Haven't used it in 10 yrs

We have an early 1980's ice cream maker (gadget!), it's perfectly fine if you want to experiment with interesting flavors of the actual ice cream, will eat it right away and like soft-serve style. It doesn't do great with mix-ins like m&ms or cookie crumbles, etc. It gets rock hard when frozen.

I guess someone in the neighborhood could have a maine coon cat. Probably just some standard domestic that gets spoiled and is "large boned". Or just a trick of the bad lighting, but I feel certain a dino sized cat lives up the street.

It was dark, so can't be sure, but it didn't look like a floofy stripy tail and didn't have a mask. Also would a racoon be so calm on a car roof with a dog 20ft away? This thing really seemed like a super chill cat that was thinking "yeah, I'm here, what are going to do about it?"

Jen I say this with love, as a collector of kitchen gadgets and as the daughter of a mother with a serious addiction to all kitchen gadgets. You don't need a milkshake spinner thing. You won't use it as much as you think. The home ones don't have the power of commercial ones. Back away.

I'm sure the right creator on Etsy or wherever will work with you to customize color and flower type. If they don't, there are plenty of other creators you can check with until you find someone who will. Support another creator. If not, then we'll still cheer-lead you while you try it yourself.

I thought someone left a gym bag on top, but then it moved. I have a friend with a large, chunk monster cat, this was bigger. It was easily the size of a well-fed corgi. In fact, I contemplated whether it was actually a dog. But a dog on a car roof seems unlikely. 98% sure cat, because what else?

Speaking of gigantic cats, when I was walking Gigi last night she stopped in front of a house with a driveway that was mostly shaded from the street lamp. She did her protest move of laying down in the middle of the street and I couldn't figure out why until I noticed a shape on the roof of the car.
