We have a few pretty large fuzzy bulbous spiders that have picked spots conveniently to be "natural" Halloween decorations near our porch - it's cool, we won't disturb them - just something about photos of spiders that pop up when not expecting that kind of wigs me out

I'd say probably 9 x 7 or 10 x 8. About 3-4 inches deep. If you cut it into 6 then each piece would be a bit larger than a post it note.

The more I think about the state of my chest freezer the more I realize that I'm probably going to be doing some rearranging and strategic eating this weekend to make space for a few of these. The good news is that I'm fairly certain I have least 1 of these already in the freezer so if I pull

this round then you'll just know to jump on it 5-6 months from now when it pops up again. They don't really take up a gigantic amount of space in the freezer, they can be put on their side, but I know that your freezer space is precious! It gives you 4 hearty servings or 6 reasonable.

It is 1000% worth going and getting at least 1 and putting it in your fridge to eat within the next 3-4 days after you buy it. It defrosts fairly quickly and my husband would argue that it's probably even tastier while still partially frozen. If you like it and you miss out on stocking your freezer

Biggest bummer about rapture on Tuesday is that means the music festival we're going to this weekend would be canceled. We've done a shit ton of planning and logistics, and spent a lot of money already on a trailer hitch, bike carrier, etc. etc. Plus dammit I want to see Greenday again!

Isn't rapture just a Christian thing? Wouldn't those of us that don't ascend to the heavens remain here with the Buddhists, Hindus, Native Americans, Muslims, Jews, and other "eastern" religions? I can think of worse things than something like Buddhism getting a stronger foothold.

Understood - you have cast iron dutch ovens so you don't really need this 1-trick gadget. Since I don't have those, and don't really want one (though it would be infinitely more multi-purpose) I'll give this a try. Of course I'll report back. Maybe we have a zoom no-knead bread baking night.
