Turban resigns from the CSMAS committee, disagreeing with the NCAA's decision to ban trans women from women's sports, citing lack of medical/scientific consensus and political motivation. He thanks the committee for their work but criticizes the decision's basis.

Right now, in the Nebraska Legislature, LB 89, a bill targeting the trans community. Trumps EOs have been mentioned in the opening statements. Red state conservatives are in lock step with Trump.
