Had a great day of D&D today, including 3 new players! And I finally got to use my fancy maps I got printed. Big win all around!

I walked 2.86 miles today, the furthest I have gone since my surgery! My foot hurts a little, but I think I can drive. This bodes well for going hiking again!

That weekend is Rosh Hashanah. A year and a half in advance and you couldn't manage to avoid it? I love BlizzCon, but you might as well hang a "No Jews Allowed" sign on the front door.

Went to Casa Bonita for the first time since the remodel! Food was all right, cliff divers were great, and Black Bart's cave was amusing. We did see the ManBearPig, but missed the gorilla and the Black Bart skits from before. And it was crazy crowded. Worth the wait? Eh, I'd go again.

Played the Mistborn card game tonight and we actually managed to beat the Lord Ruler for the first time! We acknowledge we got super lucky, but it was fun! #BoardGames #CardGames

100%! The trails are well maintained and the views in the park are just stunning. There is a trail that takes you up on top of the rock formations where you can see forever. I love going to Staunton when I'm in hiking shape.

It was a beautiful day today, so my husband and I took a walk at Staunton State Park! The 1.6 miles we went is the furthest I've been since surgery 6 months ago. My foot hurts but I am proud of my progress.
