Good Luck, Have Fun, Donβt Die is a genuinely fun sci-fi adventure comedy.
Itβs very Black Mirror with little mini Black Mirror vignettes within.
Shout out to Juno Temple in her mini-story. Sheβs brilliant.

Very much a βfuck the wealthyβ film, made more poignant with many images of the homeless cities throughout Los Angeles.
22.02.2026 21:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Crime 101 reminds me of those crime thrillers of the 90s (and early 00s).
Itβs slick. Itβs tense. Thereβs car chases. And itβs star-studded.
I enjoyed it a lot but might not remember much in a week or two (but thatβs not a bad thing).
Cold Storage is a goofy comedy horror thatβs a lot of fun.
Itβs also the perfect length for this kind of film (around 90 min).
Whilst itβs good to see Andrew Windsor being held accountable for something associated with Epstein, itβs not the thing he should be held accountable for.
Because the late Queen ensured that didnβt happen.
Cβmon Scotlandβ¦I mean Team GB!

Another flip-flop by the government. How the hell did nobody get legal guidance before unilaterally deciding they wouldnβt have council elections?
Starmer will be toast in May (assuming Labour lose in Scotland, Wales and the by-election).
Praying itβs not Streeting, who the hell takes his place?
A second season of this would definitely be a careful balancing act. Not sure how theyβd tell another story that was so personally connected to them.
15.02.2026 23:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We watched βHow to Get to Heaven from Belfastβ over the last few days.
Itβs a bit of a rollercoaster but I think it gets the balance right between light and dark, with humour coming from both.
I really thought the three main protagonists were brilliant and had great chemistry with each other.
Enjoying the second season of Dinosaur, possibly more than I did the first season (which I also enjoyed).
Hope this one runs for a few more years.
GOAT was fine for a family animation. It didnβt blow me away. I donβt think Iβll be looking to watch it again, but I wasnβt bored watching it. I certainly chuckled throughout.
My wife really enjoyed it so what do I knowβ¦
Itβs not just who leads. Itβs who enables.

Not sure why it autocorrected earning to waning.
14.02.2026 19:51 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Is it time the UK did a US and just said, if you move abroad but want to remain a citizen, you pay us tax (on what you earn wherever you are) - assuming you earn over a certain rate?
These rich pricks hiding in Monaco, waning big bucks is Dubaiβ¦time they pay up.
Played Hot Streak, Fox Experiment and Joyride last night. Had great fun with all three.
Hot Streak looks like it gets better with more players - more chaos = more laughs.
Fox Experiment is just straightforward good.
Joyride was good fun but not as mean (in our play) as I thought it might be.
Had a conversation this week where I predicted that mankind had at best, 100 years on Earth. After Trumpβs actions this week, I think thatβs ridiculously optimistic.
13.02.2026 09:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Third game of Vantage is going way better. Our mission is to complete a quest - and my wife is trying to do that. I think it helped that we each did a character action on our first turns (as one of us is purple and other is green). It has helped with dice management and giving us objectives.
08.02.2026 17:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We played Cthulhu Death May Die: Fear The Unknown. That game is just silly, silly fun.
My treasure hunter threw everything at the Old One but succumbed to madness. A small child stood over the Old Oneβs corpse after dealing the final blow.
Played a couple of games of Vantage with my wife yesterday. We both had fun but in both games, it felt like we(should really say I) βdiedβ pretty quickly.
Hope to try again soon. I really like the idea behind the game.
Got Speakeasy yesterday. Thatβs a big fucking box. Games need to get back to coming in more manageable shaped and sized boxes.
07.02.2026 13:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0All the folk repulsed by the sleaziness of Mandelson need to remember that Farage is equally as slimy. He might not have had dealings with Epstein but it doesnβt mean heβs not sleazy.
07.02.2026 13:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Really need to focus on finishing Star Wars Outlaws and Metroid Prime 4.
07.02.2026 12:50 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I didnβt get a PlayStation after 3 nor an X-Box after 360.
With a bunch of unplayed games coming to Switch 2 this year, itβs going to be an expensive one.
One of the first things Iβll be all over is Fallout 4. I sank so many hours into both Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas.
Got a proper consultation in a week but my wife was told yesterday that it looks like sheβs been responding well to the latest treatment. At least one of the tumours has shrunk in half.
Yesterday was a great day. I needed this. Was able to feel a little hope again.
Really keen to see this documentary.

Also - how the fuck did Mandelson get another job in the Labour Party?
Scandal surrounds him wherever he goes.
Starmer is the master of terrible decision making. And Mandelson might actually be the mistake that leads to his departure.
When will political parties realise that βwe might be shit but if you donβt vote for us, youβll get worseβ isnβt a winning strategy.
I donβt want Reform but Labour need to fix problems (and stop lurching right) if they want to stay in power.
Seven movies were watched in the cinema in January.
From best to worst:
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple
Marty Supreme
Hamnet
Song Sung Blue
No Other Choice
The History of Sound
H is for Hawk
Wanted to see Sentimental Value but screenings were limited in the cinema I have a pass for.
Saw Matthew Bourneβs The Red Shoes at The Kingβs Theatre, Glasgow tonight.
Was my first time seeing ballet and it was bloody brilliant.
