I made a boneheaded mistake on my US taxes that caused me to write a larger check to the US Treasury that I should have. The IRS caught the mistake and is returning what I overpaid. So cool, good job IRS.

I’m having solar and household batteries installed right now. The crew of installers should be done later this week. For me and my spouse it makes the most sense. Without going into details, we cannot have interruptions in electricity, much better option than a generator.

Burning stuff we’ve found is primitive. Burning stuff is burning stuff no matter what modern technology is applied to it, primitive is primitive.

Humanity has unlimited capacity to be smart about energy if we put our collective brainpower to it.
