I saw Leonard Peltier was given clemency and my heart swelled. I remember the pain and sadness on the Nation day of mourning when we called for him to be free. However, I think this is an important moment for us Indigenous folks to reflect on TJ. Anna Mae Aquash was our sister and she deserved life.
