A bunch of years ago, one of my kidneys failed. The specialist I was referred to said that it would only get worse, and then I would die, but it could be put off with dialysis once the remaining one got bad enough. I left.

Since then, my one kidney has been stable.

Our 1st attempt to self-govern failed because it lacked a unifying center. Our 2nd because it lacked purpose.

Our 3rd must be built on a statement of purpose. Gov t is not a business; it is a means to benefit all people, not to enrich a few.

Far more than removing Trump is needed. This was enabled through people in public office, those using money to corrupt the system, and bugs in the Constitution.

Knowing how our system of self-governance has been corrupted by such people, we must alter that system to prevent recurrence. Elected or appointed roles are user accounts to gov't; they should have role-specific requirements, limitations, and consequences for violation.

It goes hand-in-hand with them believing that being rich means that you are chosen of god, and therefore god asserts that they are superior to those who are not.

How about this...? It's in quotes because he knows he's just a figurehead/frontman, and the actual work is done by other people. He gets the adulation he craves this way, and he's protected from responsibility, like he has been all his life.

Thus demonstrating that the person making decisions about any technical field MUST have knowledge of that field as a firm job requirement.

My imagination is nasty. Reading the article, I had a vision of some chemical company discovering a new way to covertly dispose of toxic waste: air-drop it on wildfires as fire retardant. The movie in my head played out like The Pelican Brief.
