If @redbull.com is what is keeping top D prospect Elias Salomonsson performing at such a high level, someone should get him a 72-game supply.
He shared how drinking one before a game, and then performing well, kept him doing it game after game.

Firstly Salomonsson wears 44 so no dice there but it’s funny as I just did a long form sit down chat with Elias and when I asked him who he sees as a dream D partner he did list Josh Morrissey as his choice!
You’ll be able to watch it soon.
We will find out on Thursday and then Friday when they play game 1.

Only “issue” I foresee for Ville Heinola in the minors is what number he will choose for his jersey.
His usual Moose 34 is gone (as is 44). His Jets 14 (and 36) are also taken. Even the 22 he wore last year for his conditioning games is being worn.

Personally see this as good for both Ville Heinola and the Jets/Moose organization.
The Finnish defender can go down and rediscover his game without the pressure of the NHL and the AHL club gets a big asset to help push the puck to a talented fwd group.

The non-game group for the Moose out for a skate. Primarily made up of the more veteran guys with lots of pro experience.
I suspect this squad is gonna score a lot of goals.
