I live in a townhouse, so there's limited natural light, and 5 people are living in my household
+ I work from home and my husband does also, part time.
I didn't used to pay $300/month, but the rates keep going up and up.
Needless to say, we have all been spending much more time in the dark lately

Yeah. I know, Duke raised my rates for infrastructure improvements... My bill was up to $300 last month alone.
Yet, the CEO makes a base of 1.3 million and total compensation of 21 million in 2024, so that's why I'm not really trying to hear it. Maybe the rates don't really need to go up so much.

Having family in Miami, well, I certainly can verify they have a significant presence of the Russian Mafia.
Yes, there are many Trump Towers, as well. Specifically, I'm referring to "Sunny Isles Beach," formerly known as North Miami.

On a personal note, I used to love taking the train wherever, whenever, when I lived in NY. The sense of freedom and time to look out the window and contemplate my thoughts. And I am sad it's not really so much of a thing here in NC , but I digress.

Cool, kids families that used to be able to afford 30(?) get 2, kids whose families afforded 2 get -28(?)... Kids whose families could never afford any? Families who couldn't even afford furniture/beds/food/basics. Nevermind dolls?
But the wealthy get huge tax cuts, so they can afford tons of dolls?

Well golly, I do declare, we the people should certainly be surveiling the government. Clearly we cannot trust our employees. I'm glad to see he's on board. 😂

Last recession we lost everything and didn't have much to start. We know all too well. The ripple effects are obvious. I resent that after years of struggling, my husband finally got a 'secure' govt position last year. Now we are fearful again. He still works 2 jobs if anyone thinks he's overpaid.
