I think Dobson will be staying paired with Lane. But we still need another RD, preferably with size, and be physical.

I hear you Jean, every few hours I find myself searching Bluesky for new articles to read. I guess we are spoiled a little with all the good writers posting hereπŸ˜„

Thank you Eric, that was an awesome article. It would be great to see Suzuki come back with a gold medal.

Excellent read Blain. The excitement in this young team is building with each game. It’s literally been decades since we had this much excitement for our team. And as you said, we are not there yet. But there are lots of bright lights shining.

Yes I heard all about him. I think that was great for tourists, more and more tourists are visiting that area. My wife’s family came down from Ontario last year, they had to go visit the area as well. They loved it.

Yes you could tell both Neil & his wife were awesome. My wife & I were out to the brewery last year for lunch. Lovely spot, lots of tourists.

That was a different kind of man’s best friend, but it was pretty heart warming to see the care for animals. Nice little story that brings joy to lot of people. It sure beats reading about all the violence & negativity. Thanks for sharing Bart, I always enjoyed Land and Sea.

Great read once again Jack. When you list all the achievements of this young team, the rookies, the D, scoring, compared with the best in the NHL, we realize how close this team is to becoming a contender. Consistency, improved PK, maybe add another player or two, and we may surprise some teams.

Great to see. I knew there are always lots of Hab fans in Edmonton, Calgary, & Vancouver, but last night when I heard the ole ole, it was music to my ears πŸ˜‚

Great read Karine. Monty played an excellent game last night, hopefully he continues after the break. When he brings his β€˜A’ game, he doesn’t lose many games. Overall, the team is in good shape again.

Great to hear Allan. You saw a great game. I was surprised to see as many Habs fans there. Loved it

Our young Habs are taking this team to another level. Right now we are getting more support & offense from our bottom lines.
The last 5 games we are 4-0-1 and currently in 2nd in Atlantic.
Last night Monty played excellent, best game in awhile. Hughes is in great position to add before TDL.

I’m not sure if we are only mildly impressed. I think management changed their mind on needing #2 center as priority. More people on hockey broadcasts are talking how good he is.
I love his game. But as you said, we have lot of young talent now finally, and it’s great to see.

That was a bad penalty

I picked him 5 or 6 times, he finally scored for me lol

No it’s not, Monty is keeping them in the game

Perfect, keep him in the west

Agree, i wouldn’t say the Blues got burnt yet. D usually take longer, big physical RD may be the winner in couple years. Still early

03.02.2026 20:59 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I agree they need another RD, but one with size, physical who can clear front of net. Matheson & Carrier will not cut it for playoff hockey. Both are good players, but they get knocked off the puck easy, Carrier takes lot of big hits

03.02.2026 17:22 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yeah he had a few turnovers trying to get puck out of our zone. Him and Carrier wasn’t a good pair tonight.
But we did get 1 point.

Great article again Jack. How can any Habs fan not love what Caufield is doing for this team now. It’s been a long time coming since we had this much talent. Dobes is putting together some excellent hockey games for us. He still has lots of room to grow, he is still a rookie.

02.02.2026 22:13 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Suzuki with 1st goal in 5-3 win for Habs. Minnesota goalies are not used to Caufield & Suzuki shooting on them 😁

I think it would make sense to move Laine before the freeze, if they can. He will probably play in the Olympics, if he get injured again, then he walks for nothing.

Agree, this is a winnable game if the Habs continue to play like the last 3 games. Good goaltending & solid D is a must.
