The last Calvin and Hobbes comic. It's a large Sunday cartoon. That's most white snow with some sparse trees in the background. Hobbes is wearing his red scarf and Calvin is in his snow attire as the carry their toboggan into the fresh snow. Calvin opens with, "WOW, IT Really SNOWED LAST Night. ISNT IT WONDERFUL?" while trudging though a waist deep drift. Hobbes adds, "EVERYTHING FAMILIAR HAS DISAPPEARED! THE WORLD LOOKS BRAND-NEW!" To which Calvin replies, "A NEW YEAR.... A FRESH CLEAN START!" with his arms open. Hobbes excitedly says, "IT'S LIKE HAVING A BIG WHITE SHEET OF PAPER TO DRAW ON!" Calvin adds, "A DAY FULL Of POSSIBILINES!" From the far left of the page, as they get on their toboggan, Calvin shouts, "IT'S A Magical WORLD, HOBBES OL' BUDDY…" Before adding, "…LET'S GO EXPLORING!" before tobogganing off the far right end of the page over a snow drift, with empty white page separating the smaller panels.

I think his final strip is its own masterclass in how to close out a beloved series too.

It's not your fault that your symptoms aren't responsive to you "trying harder" to "push through" them.

Even if that approach seemed to work once upon a time, your nervous system isn't designed for "suck it up" to resolve trauma or manage symptoms long term. If only.

And if they can’t… maybe they could get a real fucking job that brings actual value to the world?

Very disappointing from the @wsj.com. There is not a single content creator that can’t pivot their content to a different app. Maybe one that doesn’t algorithmically force-feed users with whatever China wants to show them??

The long and short of it: We won the auction and — you're not going to believe this — the previous InfoWars folks aren't taking it well.

It used to serve up maybe 40-50% songs I liked.
